Entry & Eligibility

  • Entry Fee: INR 0
  • Eligible Students: TCWC Partner Schools only
  • TCWC Champions: Grades 6-8
  • TCWC Advocates: Grades 9-12

Categories

  • Fine Arts: 2D mixed-media on A3 Art Sheet
  • Poetry Writing: 200 Words
  • Essay Writing: 600 Words
  • Students may participate in one, two, or all categories

Important Rules

  • One form submission per category
  • Multiple entries in same category will lead to disqualification
  • No plagiarism or Generative AI usage allowed
  • All submissions must be 100% original work

Judging Criteria

  • Relevance to Topic
  • Creativity & Originality
  • Quality of Skill:
    • Essay/Poetry: Vocabulary & Grammar
    • Fine Art: Artistic Skill

Submission Guidelines

Please read all guidelines carefully before submitting your entry.

A. General Guidelines

  • File Naming: YourFullName_Category.pdf (e.g., JohnDoe_Essay.pdf)
  • Required Details: Full Name, School Name, Grade + Section + Roll No.
  • Deadline: March 30, 2025, 11:59 PM IST
  • Format: PDF files only
  • Backup: Keep a copy and submission confirmation

B. Writing Guidelines

  • Essay: Max 600 words
  • Poetry: Max 200 words
  • Format: Times New Roman, 12pt, double-spaced
  • Originality: 100% original content required
  • No AI: AI-generated content not allowed

C. Fine Arts Guidelines

  • Scanning: Use recommended apps (Adobe Scan, Microsoft Lens)
  • Quality: Well-lit, full-frame capture
  • Format: High-quality PDF or JPEG
  • No Filters: Submit original work without enhancements

Complete the online registration form with your personal and school/college details.

Develop your artwork or written piece according to the guidelines for your chosen category.

Submit

Upload your completed work through the submission portal that will be shared with registered participants.

Judging

Entries will be evaluated by a panel of experts in art, literature, and environmental science.

Frequently Asked Questions

You can enroll by filling out the official registration form and selecting the event(s) you wish to participate in. If you are submitting entries for multiple categories, you must fill out a separate form for each.

Participants can compete in one, two, or all three categories:
- Fine Arts (2D mixed-media, A3 Art Sheet size, no sticking-pasting)
- Poetry Writing (max. 200 words)
- Essay Writing(max. 600 words)

Participants will receive an e-certificate upon successful submission. Winners will receive exciting prizes at the TCWC Award Ceremony in April 2025. Additionally, students will receive recognition on different platforms and potential internship opportunities.

The deadline for enrollment and submission is March 30, 2025. Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstance.

You need to be a student in Grades 6-12 from a TCWC Partner School, have an original submission (essay, poem, or fine art), and submit your work in PDF format as per the given guidelines.

Students in two categories:
- TCWC Champions (Grades 6-8)
- TCWC Advocates (Grades 9-12)

Upload your essay in PDF format through the official application form on www.thecleanwaterchallenge.com before the deadline (30th March, 2025 - 11:59 PM IST). Ensure that your file is correctly named in the format: YourFullName_Essay.pdf.

- One entry per event category (Essay, Poetry, Fine Arts) is permitted.
- A participant can submit up to 3 entries i.e. one entry each for Essay, Fine Arts and Poetry.
- Multiple entries in the same category will lead to disqualification.

Yes, all entries will be checked for plagiarism and must be 100% original. Plagiarism, AI-generated content, or generic literary entries will be disqualified.

Due to the high number of entries, individual feedback will not be provided. However, winners and top entries may receive reward & recognition at TCWC Awards Ceremony.

You will be competing against students in your respective category: TCWC Champions (Grades 6-8) and TCWC Advocates (Grades 9-12) from TCWC Partner Schools across Mumbai.

No, you will not receive any email confirmation. You will receive a copy of your responses. On successful submission, a message will be displayed on your screen. Please consider that as a submission/registration confirmation.

No. Your entry will not proceed towards a shortlist.

No, the deadline is fixed. Under no circumstance, will an extension be considered.

No. Only the body text will be counted for the word count.

After successful submission of the form, you will see a message on your screen. Within a few weeks, you will receive a Participation Certificate. That does not mean you have not been shortlisted. If you get shortlisted, you will receive an invite to TCWC Award Ceremony.
